after a LONG LONG couple of weeks where bill was not home before 9 pm every night we were excited to have him around today (well – after he rounded this morning. the joys of residency). we mainly hung around the house today, but decided after nap we would go crazy and take the fam out to dinner. we headed to noodles and had a blast.
the girls LOVED it. I was smiling ear to ear the entire dinner watching them smile, giggle, woo those around us, and squeal.
this was our setup. we had to take up this whole bench and table because of the highchairs and carseats. those dang carseats take up so much space!
they were giddy!
they spent a ton of time turned around checking out all of the action. they would then make eye contact with people around us and just smile and win them over.
charlie devoured his mac n’ cheese. check out our stacked car seats in the background.
then we picked up the movie Tangled and had a movie night. claire was totally into watching it for a bit.
tangled might have been a bit too intense for charlie, but he watched it so hopefully he will just remember the funny parts. we will totally be doing this again. what a fun night. I can’t wait until we move the girls out of their infant car seats because then going into restaurants, etc (with 2 people that is) will be easier – well as easy as it can be when you have twins.
