need more pants…

does every 5 year old (nearly 6 as Charlie would say) boy wear through their knees in a new pair of jeans in a few days?

Whenever I find a pair of jeans that will fit Charlie on super sale or clearance I quickly purchase them because lately he has been going through the knees on his pants in days – literally! I think having a playground where they play “basketball” on concrete and running games he dives a lot and lands on his right knee the most. His school doesn’t want any ripped pants and I am sick of buying them so today I patched some VERY small holes and almost ripped through knees with some iron patches to hopefully get me through another few weeks.  Gotta love the line up showing all the wear on the right knees.

January 2015

How in the world is it January 21st already??? I guess I have been really slacking on the blog front and the photo taking.

After Christmas we did a lot of lego building as you will see by the following photos. Bill was also on call over New Years Eve and New Years Day so we pretty much stayed home with the exception of a fun NYE get together at Hubbell’s house.

charlie honestly built these legos by himself. An adult usually accompanied him so he didn’t make a little flip flop and then have the entire thing off. The adult in charge was responsible for finding the next piece. My head would hurt after helping for an hour and he would go on and on and on.
