July 7th - we got up at the Lake and then drove North towards Green Bay to stop first at my cousin Nicole's house to visit with the Matzke cousins (my mom's side). There were lots of kids running around!

After being at Nicoles - we drove to Green Bay and checked into our VRBO. My brother tom and I wanted to run out and eat some Los Banditos CCQ and chips and salsa so we took the kids and did that before we headed to Nicky's the Bar for my Uncle John's 70th birthday celebration (dad's side of the family).

Nicky's is a bar in De Pere where my aunt and uncle and family has gone to a lot. So on the eve of the Butz Family reunion he rented it out to celebrate. They had a friday night fish fry, which brought me right back to WI friday nights!
it was mayhem in there - all but 2 of the 22 cousins were in attendance (most with spouses attending, a few spouses had to stay home and work), 19 of the 24 great grandkids were there, all 7 of the Butz adults and their spouses were there. it was a grand event.
i was impressed with the kids who did a good job entertaining themselves with coloring paper and food.
then these two got a little crazy. love them, but they know how to get hyper.

Thankfully Nana took my kids home around 8:30 so I could chat with my cousins more. This place is a classic!
Tomorrow is the Butz Reunion!
