We arrived at Meg & Dan's lake house about 1pm and within minutes were on the beach. It is always a shock to see Lake Michigan - feels so much like the ocean and is so gorgeous!

they were constantly near the beach. thankful it is a really safe beach with a LONG shallow stretch and my kids are finally easy to be around water.
I just love that my dad took time to sit with charlie and work on his carving skills. He is a great teacher and Charlie just loved learning this skill. I love how he set him up in the huge leather gloves to keep him "safe". I was more concerned with his leg!
