Spokane has Hoopfest every June – it is a MASSIVE 3 on 3 basketball tournamet. Some 20,000 participants and 250,000 spectators. Every street downtown is lined with 3 on 3 games.
Despite record breaking temps (106), we braved the crowds and went. Our friend told us to park and take the bus in – he said that it would be the kids favorite part and he was right – ha! they were pumped when we got on the bus.
Bill hauled it from our friend’s game to the center ESPN elite court – it looked intense!
This was our set up at Brittan’s game – Bill was enjoying the shade with Claire and Landon.
it was worth the experience, but we definitely won’t go back unless the temps are lower next year!
