on friday we went to a birthday party for Jesus! a friend of my organized it at our church and it was a huge success. here is charlie with a tight upper lift smirk before we left.
claire didn’t fall asleep on the way there so she joined in on the party. she loved every moment and especially loved attacking the balloons.
ellie woke up after about 30 minutes and was a bit suspicious of the balloons and the entire celebration. she was happy to be with me or nicole (who graciously offered to hold her – thank you friend).
charlie did a few crafts (mostly with my help) but loved playing with and in the balloon “pit”. I was so thankful there were some dads around to help play with the kids. charlie acts very shy but warms up quickly. a very blurry action shot.
they had a little Christmas lesson and everyone sang happy birthday to Jesus and then we celebrated with cake! here are charlie’s 3 crafts that he made. there were about 5 other activities that he could have done, but we skipped this year.
