fun with Auntie Suz and Uncle Grant

Suz and Grant arrived late Thursday night - we had one day with the kids for their Spring Break left so we went to Manito and the scoop. The weather was perfect!

another day - another adventure with my sis. We headed to bowl and pitcher for a walk and it was beautiful! 

Suz and Grant are MOVING TO SPOKANE!!!! Thrilled for me! Suz got a job at Sacred Heart and will be moving here after she graduates! 

Spring Break 2018

Spring Break week! Kids and I tried to do an adventure a day. 

Day 1 - Blocyard Bouldering Gym - it was a blast for the kids. 

the best part was they got to the top of some of the walls and could go over and then use the slide to come down. 

the dog at the gym was also a highlight. 

The next day - we went to the YMCA north and went swimming. Afterwards, we went to their outdoor parks and ran around a bit, but got chilly and headed home.

Celebrating Bill's 36th Birthday!! He requested tillamookies - tillamook ice cream sandwiches. he was in heaven.

It was a great relaxing spring break. Late Thursday night - Auntie Suz and Uncle Grant arrived! 

E&C Ear Piercing!!!

For their birthday - Ellie and Claire were given the opportunity to get their ears pierced. We did it right before Spring Break.

getting a little nervous - they use 2 people and they use disposable ear piercers so nothing is re used. 

done! she was instantly happy and NO tears!

before going - I asked Claire if she wanted to skip it. She told me she wanted to do it. 

she was sad after but didn't cry.

she was done and was still not sure.

it sunk in!!! Claire is finally happy! 

after a fun dinner at Prossers - kids all in a row watching a movie. Lots of evenings spent with these families. 

The next day - Bill gave the girls the Jade earrings we purchased for them when we were in New Zealand. I have a matching pair.
