Charlie Wart Removal!

Charlie finally agreed to get his wart removed by Bill before school started so after the pool we headed to Bill's office. Claire was the most excited because she got to put on a bunny suit to see the laser in the OR.

this picture is just so cute!

Kacee - a nurse at Bill's work stayed late and helped run the laser. I'm so thankful she stayed and helped. It was a great thing to get these off his hands!

Bill took something small of his hand as a trial to see how it worked and felt. ha.

do you see the smoke coming off the wart zapping?

the nasty pit it left.

E&C Ear Piercing!!!

For their birthday - Ellie and Claire were given the opportunity to get their ears pierced. We did it right before Spring Break.

Claire signing at Silver Safari.

Ellie checking out earrings.

Ellie ready to go! She was so brave and willing to go first.

getting a little nervous - they use 2 people and they use disposable ear piercers so nothing is re used.

done! she was instantly happy and NO tears!

Love this!! she was so happy.

claire was assessing the earrings and she was definitely thinking again about if she wanted piercing.

before going - I asked Claire if she wanted to skip it. She told me she wanted to do it.

she was sad after but didn't cry.

she was done and was still not sure.

still unsure.

it sunk in!!! Claire is finally happy!

after a fun dinner at Prossers - kids all in a row watching a movie. Lots of evenings spent with these families.

The next day - Bill gave the girls the Jade earrings we purchased for them when we were in New Zealand. I have a matching pair.

November well child checks

Ann & Addi hosted a fun dinner party with a handful of families! Had to snap the kids dinner! When will Charlie start smiling normally again???

While checking the girls' homework I was surprised to find really well dressed children in their word problem. I just can't get enough of these!

Charlie's 8.5 year old well child check details. He weighs 66.2 lbs (71%) and is 52 inches tall (56%).

Eleanore and Claire had their 5.5 year old check and they continue to AMAZE me!

After school they both did their urine samples and then got on the scale. It blows me away that in the middle of the afternoon they weigh the EXACT same!

Claire: 42.8 lbs (22%) and is 45.5 inches tall (27%)

Eleanore: 42.8 lbs (22%) and is 45.75 inches tall (32%).

We are continually thankful for the health and well being of our kids. We thank God for them and for their health!

Ellie loses her 2 bottom teeth

Ellie had her bottom 2 permanent teeth come in behind her baby teeth and at first it wasn't an issue, but then her baby teeth became less wiggly and there is just NO space in her mouth....so it was time to extract the baby teeth. I couldn't break it to her that it was going to happen during the afternoon of her Kindergarten graduation, but when she found out after graduation she burst out in tears. I felt so bad, but it was the best thing for her. After lunch and a break she pulled it together and got her "business face on" and just got ready to go. She even remembered her special dentist shirt - if you wear it you get an extra token when you leave.

As we were leaving - Claire started crying because she was nervous about Ellie. The twin fun continues! As Ellie was getting in the car, I shut the door and her fingers were still in the crack! AHHH. Thankfully, she has dinky fingers and it was in the squishy part of the door, but it was not a good way to kick off the extraction process.

Last picture with all of her baby teeth!! So sad to loose this cute smile!

recovering fingers.

After Ellie got called back - Claire was all concerned. so sweet.

Claire and Ellie were all smiles after! Especially since the dentist office had Snow Cone truck outside the office to celebrate the last day of school for their patients! What a fun treat!

Okay - I LOVE ellie's new smile!
