6 months

charlie is 6 months! we won't go to the doctor for another 2 weeks so i don't know how much he officially weighs, but we weighted him on our home scale and he is somewhere between 16.5 and 17 pounds!

at 6 months he is:
*rolling back and forth easily
*making "crawling" motions, but really only ends up rotating around in circles
*sits up easily
*"stands" up with our help and "walks" around a lot
*he squeals when his daddy gets home
*smiles and giggles a ton
*wakes up every morning happy and babbling
*he babbles - ahhs, baba, vava, guew

here are a few picture highlights:

wearing - my knitted hats and booties. it is now cold enough out and i had to have him wear them at least once!

he is definitely getting chubbier!

charlie and lily love playing together with this little squeaky cow. they go back and forth holding it. it is too cute.

we went to whitewater state park for a hike one saturday. the backpack definitely does not fit him yet - so we put a foam booster in it so he would be able to see over it. he loved it.

my group of friends who ran the twin cities 10 miler or marathon this past weekend. we had a spaghetti dinner at tom and laura's house the night before the race. it was a great weekend.

just so i remember my results someday... i ran the 10 miler in 1:17:11. placed 41st in my division (out of 962) and 118th out of all females running (out of 3543). i was happy with my results. especially since my training did not include any speed work and i did most of my runs pushing charlie (~50 lbs!).
