School Christmas celebrations

This is really the first year that our school Christmas celebrations were prevalent.

Charlie brought home from school his handmade stocking that his teacher – Ms. Pridmore – had filled with her gifts to him. He was so excited he instantly opened it.

it was full of superhero stickers, a new book, a new beanie bear (which I normally would have thought is weird, but Charlie and the girls have been playing with our random beanie babies and Charlie has brought his to school a few times), other little junk kids love. I thought it was really thoughtful of her.

We had Charlie’s Christmas Program one tuesday evening. Claire & Ellie were happy!

Charlie’s class started the program by singing Go Tell it On the Mountain and then did a long recitation of “what Christmas is really about”. They did a great job.

I snapped a picture of this adorable ornament Charlie made at school. I was so sad when he dropped it in the garage and it broke when he was carrying it in.

it was great to have these celebrations to really build the excitement for Christmas!

  1. Addison did the exact same thing with the Christmas gift he had made for us at school - so sad!
