Bill cauterized Ellie's nose and we are finally nose bleed free! 

the girls created a "daddy" from cardboard and put him at the table. they have no idea what life was like in residency -- so thankful they think he is busy now, but he is still at a few dinners a week!

Charlie got to have a fun Sunday afternoon with the Dickerhoofs up in Greenbluff. He loves spending time with these brothers.

First Day of 2nd and 4th Grades!!!!

First day of School!!

Ellie asked me what I was going to do with my day. I wondered the same thing, but loved to bits of quiet! 

after school - instant playing and charlie stripping down to his robe. ha! 

It is a blessing to go to a school that is a safe place for the kids and somewhere they are excited to go and reconnect with teachers and friends. Kids are going to have a great year! 

Becca comes to visit!

Becca came to visit me!!! 

We had pedis and then dinner with Julia on Wednesday evening before we headed to the mountain. 

We eventually got out for a hike mid morning and then headed into Sandpoint for a delicious lunch. 

then the best part of the day started. we climbed back in bed around 3:30 - light rain was falling - and we adjusted the bed to have our heads and feet propped up and then started watching our first movie. It was glorious. No responsibility, cozy, sleepy, whatever we wanted. We then started out next movie....

we started to get a few hunger pangs so grabbed some cheese and apples and crackers and wine....then finished our second movie. after that we really got ready for bed...and then slowly flattened our backs and feet out until we decided to crash. ha! 

the next morning we woke up refreshed and happy! 

We eventually headed to CDA and had delicious sushi and a nice hang out by the water. By 2:30 we picked up the kids and our bubble was burst, but worth it to have the kids be with becca for a bit. So thankful you took the time away from your family to spend time with me! Filled me up for back to school time! 

Adventures with Nana & G Pops

My parents took the kids after backpacking for the week for fun adventures. As you will soon see I was having some adventures myself while Bill was working. 

The kids had a blast!  

My mom sacrafically drove my kids to meet me in Coeur d'alene on Friday so I could get the kids in time for soccer on Saturday and school starting on Monday. Thank you for taking the kids mom and dad!
