K Camp

For the last 2 years - we have joined in our "K Camp" with a group of families from our church. It is mainly organized by the amazing Branham family, but we all pitch in and share all the meals and just totally take over a campground each summer for a few days!

This year - we ended up at Williams Lake - it was a trip! So hillbillyish, but honestly a delightful time just fellowshipping together and building friendships.

this is actually a sign hanging in the main area.

Friday night - we arrived and the kids were already jumping in and swimming off the dock.

Emily & Josh Malone and Becca their daughter.

we cheated and rented this "cabin". It was EXTREMELY rustic, but actually was great to have a clean bathroom and running water!

a bit of the scene. ha!

the lake and bluffs were beautiful!

the clan! We are a large group - probably 10 or more families with MANY kids.

Charlie got stung by a bee while hiking up with the guys to cliff jump.

proud after cliff jumping!

the food is taken very seriously. Smoked brisket that has been on the smoker for an entire day! Awesome sandwiches, etc.

the last morning of the camp -we have my most coveted meal! Gooey Bagels! A big batch of eggs and sausage is made. Then bagels are spread with cream cheese. then some eggs/sausage and shredded cheese is piled in the middle of the bagel and then they are cooked in the fire. DELISH!!!

Love our CTR family and thankful for the community they give us here in Spokane!
