Labor Day weekend - we spent Friday at the pool - our last day at the Racquet club pool. We definitely used it a ton this year!
claire - charlie - ellie.
we loved having the Oranen family there this year! Wes and Charlie enjoyed each other a ton and Ellie, Claire and Tatem played great.
Fall Fest up at Schweitzer is a great weekend. It is a beer/cider tasting weekend with bands and lots of activities. The smoke was still in the air, but a bit clearer up at Schweitzer.
Saturday - we picked up our mugs and started the tasting. We met up with lots of families and the bigger kids did the activity pass for the day.
the girls were too small for a lot of the rides so they thankfully were patient. Charlie was thrilled to be able to run around with his buddies. Ziplining!
the kids got the soda tasting. It is disgusting, but they love it.
we rode the chairlift up towards the end of the day because it was so hot and dusty in the village.
up on the top with our gaggle of kids!
Luke, Ian, Maya, Ellie, Mitchell, Belle, Colin, Phyllis, Emerson, Matthew, Claire.
trying another one so the kids don't have the sun in their eyes.
coming down!
these 3 boys are the best. Colin - Mitchell - Charlie. Love that we were put on their soccer team 3 years ago just when we had moved to town.
We headed out on the Lake on Sunday. The smoke was so bad!
kids still had fun!
bath time in the lake.
charlie working on diving.
Prossers came out with us and the kids had fun exploring the shore.
Monday the smoke had really settled in! The stoddard family came to visit and it was so thick with smoke you couldn't see anything!
We took the Stoddard family out on the boat for a lap - later we found out the air quality in sandpoint was 418! It is not safe at 150!!! Ash was literally raining down from the fires in the Gorge in Oregon.
Panhandle can fix anything though.
had to capture that Bill took us out on the lake when we couldn't see further than a .5 mile!
Most of our friends started school either the day after Labor Day or the week before. We still had 3 weeks of summer to go!!!
