May wrap up

Ellie doing his Dragonfly presentation at school.

Claire presented Fireflies.

Our butterflies!

the kids loved them!

A quick stop at the scoop after Charlie's haircut! We had his buddy Brendan along!

the girls were trying on outfits for our family photo shoot - claire's was too small. ha!

the girls both had these leopard shoes show up in the mail. then they wore them non stop. I loved this pic of them on our bed watching a show before bed (charlie had a brendan sleeping over so they were playing wii).

the girls were doing Butterfly work and counting how many butterflies were eating from which fruit. i have a video of them chatting and i always love spying on them and hearing how they work together. so sweet. sometimes world war III. this was a sweet time.

we released the butterflies!

Grandparent's Day

Nana and G Pops made the trek over for Grandparent's Day at school. I was so thankful they made the effort. It is a huge deal at school and I didn't realize it until I saw the schedule!

Loved this picture of Claire and my dad.

since they drove the kids to school -- I got a treat and was able to hike up the Rocks of Sharon with Kelley and Erin. Such a fun morning!

It was a half day of school so we headed to Manito Park to cruise around and it was gorgeous! I just love this photo!

the annual window photo. There wasn't a stand out winner and some were blurry, but still glad we tried!

the gorgeous gardens just getting planted.

We took the kids to see the Oaks play - Beauty and the Beast. Phoebe was Babette and was fantastic. Actually the whole production was over the top! for a school for 350 it was mindblowing. the talent. the set. wish I could have taken pictures.

we ran into Kate in the parking lot and since we were matching Bill snapped a pic!

we finally got Charlie's hair cut!

the girls trying on outfits for our family photo shoot coming up. so cute!

May happenings

Garden got planted one beautiful day!

Ellie makes me lovely drawings. I love her creations.

We got our Calipitters. I just LOVE that Claire calls them Calipitters!!!

A delightful Mother's Day Celebration at school with the girls.

This was a bittersweet day. Charlie's SYSA soccer team played their last game. When we first arrived in Spokane we randomly were assigned to this team and I honestly think God was helping us find some fun friends. Many of this group have known each other for years and they were so welcoming. Charlie's team will now go up to the developmental level and play for Breakers, but these SYSA years have been so sweet. They have been undefeated and are a great group with fantastic coaches.

Thankfully most of the group will stay together in Breakers with Jon and Chad still coaching.

I was amazed at how fast these calipitters grow!

Colin and Mitchell came over after the game to hang for the day -these 3 could spend a TON of time together!

I had the best Mother's Day this year. They surprised me BRIGHT and early with homemade pancakes and mugs they had all made at Painted Pottery with Bill.

I love this stage where they want to celebrate me. Such a sweet time!

During the week I attended a salad workshop with a group of friends at her mom's house. It was EPIC

more May to come!
