Tree cutting down

We headed off to Greenbluff Christmas tree farm again this year. The trees weren't great and we passed on a few that were pretty good. 

We ended up finding one that was HUGE, but had a good middle chunk - ha. I think we were sick of hunting for a tree in the cold. 

Ellie was NOT happy about this tree as you can tell. She had found another tree that she wanted us to find, but we couldn't locate what she had found and we wanted to be done. 

Ellie smiled just for the hot cocoa.

we had to cut a TON off ....and we had to trim it back -- it was entertaining how big it was.

Thanksgiving!

Ellie and Claire made special name cards for everyone for Thanksgiving. They were like honest critics -- ha!

Thanksgiving 2018

This year Tom & Laura and my parents were able to come out for Thanksgiving. With Suzanne and Grant living here that made for a fun, full table. At the last minute - Ann joined us too (she was on call and flying solo). 

What a fun celebration with everyone together!
