our new addition

bubba butz.

bubba butz – is a wooden statute thing that my grandpa butz purchased on a trip to the middle east many, many years ago. one of the family members picked him out and he became a traveling “gift” in the butz family. we were the lucky recipients of bubba for this year.

after getting back from hudson we received this in the mail.

bubba had traveled from NYC where he had spent the last year with my cousin laura. he worked in the fashion industry and had a blast seeing the sights in NYC.

laura decided to ship him to us instead of fly with him because I guess bubba raises suspicions through security and always slows things down.

this is the note bubba sent us. he is looking forward to playing with the kids, naptime, bedtime, stories and parties.

the kids were eating lunch when bubba arrived. they were all pretty interested in this weird looking guy.
