2nd grade history poster presentations

Ellie and Claire prepared their History Poster Presentations. 

So thankful for Ting who loaned us the perfect costumes. 

Claire presented Hagar & Ishmael.

Ellie presented Joesph as a Slave. 

Both girls did such a great job and were so articulate and poised while presenting. 

Love these two and watching them thrive at school. 

Mid-winter break - Schweitzer time

Mid Winter break week! I love this week. We stayed home for the first 3 days while Bill worked and then we headed to Schweitzer. 

Nana and G pops had a little traveling snafu so instead of being in Switzerland they spent a long weekend with us. 

We took them on a tour of the mountain on the crisp clear day. Lightning tree! 

eating a delicious lunch at the outback! 

with the best rice krispy treats of all time. 

Charlie misled us while we attempted to find the Grandfather tree. So we all had to take a break after hiking back up the hill.

The grandfather tree is massive!

sadly you can't see the size of the grandfather tree. But trust me it is huge. 

we found the bear cave! 

it was dumping snow! 

woke up to a powder day with blue skies and kids in race group. a perfect combo! 

a packed SARS lunch table!
